The Clouds Between Cambodia and Singapore
Finally, I'm back from the Cambodia trip
It was average actually, not very fun
Why? Cause its a full 2 days of history lesson, Oh my god
We visited about TEN temples in the temperature of 35 degrees celsius
That is like hotter than Singapore, the sun was very strong
Now my skin looks like charcoal, if i put a red dot on my forehead, people would have thought i changed my race
Haha! No lah joking lah not so exaggerated
There were some gd things about the trip and of course bad ones...
Pros:
Hotel was awesome, great furnishing, toilet was well equipped and the beds are comfortable
1st day went to see the sunset, its super beautiful
2nd day at night there was the nightmarket, bought a couple of stuffs, the atmosphere was great
Food was not bad, 2nd day all you can eat buffet wooo!
Tour guide was pretty good
Cons:
Weather was hot and dry
Some tourists were rude, especially the Ko****s
Overall trip was boring
They PREFERABLY accept US dollars
Cambodia Airport is super super small, as in its only 1/8 of Changi Airport
But during the trip i got to learn a few stuffs, wherever we went, there would be a few locals, some children come running up to us requesting us to buy their stuffs. Their stuffs ranged from tablecloths to straw bracelets. But what really inspired me was their determination. They never gave up even though we told them countless times we dont want any. They were smart too to lower their prices and offer other products in exchange for the current price we were paying for. They even used the "Foot In The Door" and "Door In The Face" techniques in Psychology! :O
Sometimes i wonder, what we were given at birth doesnt mean we must forever be chained down by things that we cannot enjoy. These people were born in a poor family, in a 3rd world country and they can barely scrape through their 3 meals. Thankfully they have at least a roof over their heads. When i look back at Singapore, look at all those losers of society, i seriously wonder, God gave them a good environment, some were even born in a rich family, and they waste their time, money and lives over stuffs that debits their expenses and credit their lives -.- If there was ever a chance that these poor people were born in our great environment, that would be better for them. But looking back, Singapore do need losers otherwise in the future, whos gonna help marketing intermediaries unload and load goods? Whos gonna come up to your place and fix your air-conditioner? Whos gonna help collect rubbish? So my friends, if there was ever a time you encounter these losers, think again, theres no need to fret over them cause in the future, you will be trampling over them, in wealth, status and of course standard of living :D
The Cambodians' lifestyle is very simple, unlike ours which is very complicated. We fret over school, money, love, looks, fashion, work and many other stuffs like that but they only need to know how to get their daily meals to live their lives. They never need to fret over stuffs that we fret over. If Singapore was just as well carefree as theirs but yet environment is still great, that would be the best :D
Anyway school's gonna reopen soon, finally get to meet my awesome friends AND Shanice's birthday is coming up soon! Gonna wish her a Happy Birthday very soon! :D Hehehe alright shall go and have lunch with Amos now and than play some Basketball.
