Life is still the same, of course
But last week havent been much to class
Was spending much more time on Basketball
Oh yah and congratulations to the class for winning in the competition in Bangkok, coming in at first position
Before i joined the class, i thought that champions will never be able to teach well
Because they spend most of their times on competitions
But how long do they spend on teaching?
But when i joined the class, i realised i was wrong
The teachers are awesome, though some i have difficulties understanding BUT they are willing to put in the effort to continue teaching
And best of all they have the patience even if you do wrongly :D
Thats what i like about the teachers
I also used to think that as champions, they could have gone out there and win more championships to earn more money
But i was wrong, again
It seems that not every champion wants to attain glory
Some want to impart the skills and traditions to the next generation
And its what its currently happening now
And im proud to say that i have such wonderful teachers :D
Anyway heres a joke i heard quite long ago, but i still find it funny as i think about it again
There were four people on a plane namely a Singaporean, an American, a Chinese and an Iraqi
So the plane was going to crash due to an engine defect and there were 4 parachutes for them to use (The pilot and the stewardess jumped already)
So the Singaporean said:
My country maybe small but i can do my part to protect it from others, therefore i shall jump first
So he took a parachute and jumped
The American said:
My country is big but still im needed to contribute to its growth
therefore i shall jump next
So he took a parachute and jumped
The Chinese said:
My country has thousand years of history and traditions and im needed to help spread it to the next generation
therefore i shall jump next
So he took a parachute and jumped
So the Iraqi thought to himself
I'm unable to protect my country, I'm unable to contribute to its growth and i'm unable to spread any thousand years of history
So the Iraqi decided to just jump without the parachute
So as he dropped down, he passed the Chinese guy
The Chinese guy looked in dismay and chanted "Amitabha", may buddha save you
The Iraqi continued falling and passed the American
The American looked in amazement, saluted to him and said
You are a brave man, may god bless you
Finally the Iraqi passed the Singaporean
But the Singaporean gave a pissed off look
And instead of wishing him good luck or god may watch over him or something
The Singaporean said : WAH LAO EH! FALL FASTER THAN ME!!
Morale of the story: Singaporeans Are Kiasu :D
Haha anyway yesterday afternoon met up with Wei Ying to eat lunch together
But she didnt eat any and instead watched me eat
After that went to the arcade Wei ying played Para Para, Shes good :O
Den later went to Chai Chee CC meet Alvin, Yvonne and Gregory for ktv but apparently we didnt book earlier so there wasnt any space
Initially we waited and hoped that someone cancelled their bookings but apparently yesterday we were unlucky haha
So we took a bus to E!Hub play pool
And yah i know i suck at pool, flying ball everywhere haha
After that sent Wei ying and gregory to Pasir ris interchange cause they needed to go to sch while i headed for class
After class had dinner with Charles and Jacq at Macdonalds at White Sands
At first we wanted to go near Cathay that area eat Long John Silvers but it was closed already
Anyway after that headed back home and Oswin asked if i could help him with his Biology cause his N levels are coming up
After that went to central have a drink, headed back home
Anyway nothing much to post these few days
So i think i shall end my post here
